Day 1 Arrive Cochin and check in at the Hotel. 6 p.m. Rest of the day free to relax a dance called Kathakali – a unique Kerala Dance in which an entire history of Kerala and its rulers are eracted (2 hrs show) Day 2 8 A.M. Lunch 2 P.M. Proceed to Fort Kochi (18 kms or 1 hr drive) An obscure fishing village that became the first European township in India. Foot – Foot Day 3 7 A.M. - Breakfast 8 A.M. - Proceed to Guruvayur – (3hrs drive) where the famous Sree Krishna Temple is situated and is also one of the most sacred and important pilgrim center of Kerala according to belief, this temple was created by Guru - The preceptor of the gods and Vayu - the god of winds. There are about 100 elephants in the elephant camp owned by this temple, a great sight to see. 1 P.M. - Lunch 2 P.M. - Proceed to Athirapally water falls (2 hrs drive) A popular waterfall on the edge of the s\Sholayar Forest Ranges, which falls down from a height of 100 ft. The rocky terrain with thick green forest in the back drop is a saintillating experience to many a visitor. Proceed to Cherai Beach – an ideal beach for swimming where dolphins are occasionally found – A Typical Kerala Village with paddy fields and coconut groves nearby is an added attraction. Here a cruise through the village canals in a canoe would be an experience worth a try. 8 P.M. Return to Resort for Dinner and Overnight stay Day 4 7 A.M. - Breakfast 7.30 A.M. - Check out and proceed to another beautiful hill station called Munnar. 5300 ft. above sea level (4 ½ hrs drive) This is a nature lovers paradise and was once upon a time the summer resort of the British Government in Kerala, sprawling Tea Estates, Winding lanes, picture book towns coupled with holidaying facilities make this a popular hill station. Enroute visit one of the biggest Elephant Training Camps in South India. Elephants specially trained for Safari are provided here with ……….for riding by Tourists. 1 P.M. Arrive at Munnar and check in at Resort. 1.30 P.M. Lunch 3 P.M. Proceed for Echo point / Maduppetty Dam and Kundala Dam. 7 P.M. Arrive at Munnar Town for shopping 9 P.M. Return to resort 9.15 P.M.
